It achieves this by managing air exchange between the indoor environment and the outdoors, offering both exhaust-only and balanced ventilation modes.
The primary function of the Eliminator 200 is to control humidity levels in basements. In its "Summer Operation" mode, the device can be configured for exhaust-only operation. This is achieved by closing the dampers located at the top of the machine that control the fresh air supply. Users simply loosen thumbscrews, slide the damper plate down, and then tighten the screws to activate this mode. This allows the unit to remove humid air from the basement without introducing outside air, which might be equally or more humid during summer months.
For "Winter Operation," the Eliminator 200 can be set to balance exhaust with an equal amount of supply air. To achieve this, the dampers for fresh air supply are opened by loosening the thumbscrews, sliding the damper plate up, and then tightening the screws. The product comes with a transferable warranty. For residential use, the NU-AIR Eliminator is warranted for two (2) years from the date of original purchase against defective material or workmanship. During this period, NU-AIR Ventilation Systems Inc. will replace defective parts FOB Factory, with delivery, installation, and labor costs being the responsibility of the customer. The warranty does not cover damage due to improper maintenance or misuse. If the unit is used for commercial applications, the warranty period is reduced to one (1) year.
