Summary

Rear Panel Features

Power In

Connects the mixer to a power outlet using the included adapter. Power should be off during connection.

Voltage Selector

Sets the AC input voltage for the mixer, typically 100-120V or 220-240V.

Power Switch

Turns the mixer on and off. Turn on after inputs are connected and off before amplifiers.

Grounding Terminal

Connects the grounding wire from turntables to prevent hum or buzz.

Phono Inputs (RCA)

Connects phono-level devices like turntables to the mixer.

Line Inputs (RCA)

Connects line-level devices such as CD players or audio interfaces.

CH3 USB

Outputs the Record mix to computer or sends computer audio to Channel 3.

MIC 2 Input

Connects an additional 1/4" microphone to Channel 4.

Master Output (Balanced XLR)

Low-impedance XLR output for connecting to speaker or amplifier systems.

Master Output (RCA)

Connects to speaker or amplifier systems using standard RCA cables.

Booth Output (RCA)

Connects to a booth monitoring system using standard RCA cables.

Record Output (RCA)

Connects to a recording device like a CD recorder or tape deck.

Top Panel Features

Power LED

Indicates when the mixer is powered on.

Input Selector

Selects the input source for each channel.

Channel Level Indicator

Displays the audio level of each corresponding channel.

Channel Gain

Adjusts the pre-fader and pre-EQ gain level for each channel.

Channel Treble

Adjusts the high frequencies of the corresponding channel.

Channel Mid

Adjusts the mid-range frequencies of the corresponding channel.

Channel Bass

Adjusts the low frequencies of the corresponding channel.

Channel Cue

Sends pre-fader audio to the Cue Channel for headphone monitoring.

Channel Fader

Adjusts the audio level of the corresponding channel.

CF Assign

Selects which input channel is heard when the crossfader is moved.

Crossfader

Blends audio between channels assigned to the left and right of the crossfader.

CF Slope

Adjusts the slope of the crossfader curve for smooth fade or sharp cut.

Headphones

Connects 1/4" headphones for cueing and mix monitoring.

Cue Gain

Adjusts the audio level of the Cue channel.

Cue Mix / Split

Splits or blends Cue and Program audio in the headphone channel.

Cue Mix

Mixes between Cue and Program audio in the headphone channel.

MIC 1 Input

Connects a microphone using an XLR cable.

MIC Gain

Adjusts the audio level of the microphone signal.

MIC Treble

Adjusts the high frequencies of the microphone channel.

MIC MID

Adjusts the mid-range frequencies of the microphone channel.

MIC BASS

Adjusts the low frequencies of the microphone channel.

MIC ON / OFF

Turns the microphone input on or off, with a TALKOVER function.

Master Fader

Adjusts the output volume of the Program mix.

Stereo Level Indicator

Displays the audio level of the Program mix.

Mono / Stereo

Adjusts the Program mix for stereo or mono operation.

Balance

Adjusts the balance of right to left audio in all outputs.

Booth Volume

Adjusts the Booth output level.

Instructions for setting up the M6 USB with computer audio software for playback and recording.
