MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS (PIC. 2)
Check the device for damage in transit. Please advise
the delivery company immediately if you discover any
damage.
Mounttheelectric hoistusingthesupplied bracketstoa
structureofsufficientlystrengthtosupport250Kgwithout
failureandthatwillholdthehoistinahorizontalposition.
If alternative brackets are used ensure that they are of
sufficient strength and align with the mounting holes on
thehoist.
OPERATION (PICS. 3 TO 7)
Warning!
Read and understand the instruction manual before using
the electric hoist.
Before lifting a load make sure that the steel cable is
correctlywoundontothecabledrum(Pic.3).Ensurethe
loadtobeliftedisdirectlybelowthehoistandanylifting
chains,straps,slings,ropesandshacklesaresufficiently
strongandcorrectlypositionedtocarrytheweightofthe
loadsafelyandsecurely.
Attachthehooktotheloadensuringthatthesafetybaris
fullyclosed(Pic.4.1).
Press the upper half of the control switch to raise the load
(Pic.5.1).Pressthelowerhalfofthecontrolswitchtolower
theload(Pic.5.2).
Theswitchisalsofittedwithanemergencystopbutton.In
theeventofanemergency,tostopthehoistimmediately,
hittheemergencystopbutton(Pic.5.3).Thiswillactivate
themechanicallockoftheemergencybutton,thatprevents
themachinefrombeingswitchedonuntilthemechanical
lockhas been released. To releasethe mechanicallock
twisttheemergencystopbuttoninaclockwisedirection.
Tocarryoutadoublelinelift(Pic.6),attachthesingleline
hooktothehoistframe(Pic.6.1).
Removethe screw(Pic. 7.1)from thedouble linepulley
andhook(Pic.7.2).Placethepulleyontothesteellifting
cable. Refit the hook and replace the screw (Pic. 7.3).
Ensurethepulleyrotatesfreely.
MAINTENANCE
Check the hoist regularly for damage and correct
operation.
Periodicallycheckthatthesteelcableisingoodcondition.
Damagedcables,asillustratedinpictureA,BandC,must
bereplacedimmediately.
Checkallsecuringscrewsarewelltightened.
Check the control switch operates correctly. Ensure the
hoiststopswhenthecounterweightliftsthecutoutarm.
Lubricatethesteelcableandotherexposedmovingparts
withalightcoatingofgrease.
