The NutriChef PKCWC series comprises wine chilling refrigerators and cellars designed to store wine at optimal temperatures. These appliances are available in various capacities and configurations, including single-zone and dual-zone models, with options for classic glass doors or stainless steel doors. The primary function is to maintain a stable internal temperature to preserve the quality and flavor of wine, offering specific temperature ranges for red, dry/white, and rosé wines.

Electrical Specifications:

Usage Features:
- Installation:
- Position the cooler in a dry, airy place with ambient temperatures between 5-32°C (41-90°F).
- Allow the unit to stand upright for approximately 2 hours before connecting to power.
- Maintain 6 inches of space at the back and 10 inches on both sides for proper air circulation.
- Ensure the unit is on a leveled surface; adjust front feet as needed.
- Do not place near heat-generating appliances or in direct sunlight.
- For PKCWC12 and PKCWC15 models, a stainless steel handle needs to be installed by aligning it with screws and tightening with a Phillips head screwdriver.
- Temperature Control (Single Zone Models):
- Control panel locks automatically after 20 seconds of inactivity.
- Press the unlock button (represented by a lock icon) to activate the control panel.
- Adjust temperature using the up and down arrow buttons in 1°C or 1°F increments.
- Switch temperature display between Fahrenheit and Celsius using a dedicated button (represented by °C/°F icon).
- Turn interior light ON/OFF by short pressing a button (represented by a light bulb icon). The light turns off automatically after 10 minutes.
- Temperature Control (Dual Zone Models):
- Similar control panel lock and unlock mechanism as single-zone models.
- A dedicated button (represented by a zone icon) allows selecting and switching between the lower and upper zones for temperature setting. The digital display will flash for the selected zone.
- Adjust temperature using up and down arrow buttons.
- Switch temperature display between Fahrenheit and Celsius.
- Turn interior light ON/OFF. The light turns off automatically after 10 minutes.
- Safety Instructions:
- Read all instructions before use.
- Risk of child entrapment: Remove the door and leave shelves in place before disposing of old coolers.
- Never allow children to operate, play with, or crawl inside.
- Do not clean with flammable fluids.
- Do not store flammable vapors or liquids near the appliance.
- Do not repair or replace parts unless specifically recommended in the user guide.
- Replace fuses with the same type.
- Ensure the power cord is properly grounded; avoid extension cords.
- Secure the cord to prevent accidental injury.
- Ventilation:
- Do not install in a closed cabinet without proper ventilation.
- Maintain at least 6 inches distance between the wall and the cooler.
- Maintain at least 50mm of ground clearance; do not remove the feet.
Maintenance Features:
- Cleaning:
- Unplug the chiller and remove all items, including shelves.
- Wash inside surfaces with a warm water and baking soda solution (approx. 2 tablespoons baking soda to a quart of water).
- Wash shelves with a mild detergent solution.
- Wring excess water from sponges/cloths when cleaning controls or electrical parts.
- Wash the outside cabinet with warm water and mild liquid detergent, then rinse and wipe dry with a soft cloth.
- Troubleshooting: The manual provides a comprehensive troubleshooting guide for common issues:
- Wine cooler not operating: Check voltage, circuit breaker, fuse.
- Wine cooler not cold enough: Check temperature settings, ambient temperature, frequency of door opening, door seal, clearance for heat dissipation, and item load.
- Vibrates while operating: Ensure the unit is leveled; adjust feet.
- Produces a lot of noise: Check leveling, clean fan if dusty using a hair dryer.
- Will not close properly: Check leveling, door installation, and seal.
- LED display not working: Check main control board, plug connection, and ensure the digital control panel is unlocked.
- LED display error: Indicates a PCB problem.
- Buttons not functioning: Temperature control panel may be damaged.
- Frost or ice developed inside: Ambient temperature too low; restart cooler.
