Important Installation Notes:
This unit requires a negative ground 12V power supply. Before installation, it is crucial to disconnect the battery's negative (-) terminal to prevent short circuits. Using unauthorized parts can cause permanent damage to the unit. When installing, ensure sufficient clearance behind the panel to avoid damaging wiring harnesses, fuel lines, or other critical components. Never risk damaging components when cutting the opening for installation.
Installation Instructions:
- Attach threaded bolts to the back of the NMPS20.
- Position the mounting bracket over the bolts.
- Place washers over the bolts and securely attach nuts.
- Depending on the size of your mounting baffle, you may need to snap off one or more metal tabs from the mounting bracket to accommodate the installation.
- Firmly tighten the remaining four screws on the front panel of the unit.

Usage Features:
The NMPS20 offers intuitive controls for various functions:
- Power On/Off: Press the Power Button (7) once to turn on; hold for two seconds to turn off.
- Volume Control: Rotate the Volume Knob (4) clockwise to increase volume, counterclockwise to decrease.
- Station Seeking: Press the Automatic Preset Scan Button (1) to seek the next station.
- Song/Track Navigation: Hold Down/Press Next Button (3) to skip to the next song; Hold Down/Press Previous Button (2) to go to the previous song.
- Play/Pause: Press the Play/Pause Button (12).
- Audio Settings: Tap the Middle Button (4) one by one to toggle through audio settings.
- Band Switching: Press the Band Button (6) to switch between FM1, FM2, FM3, AM1, and AM2.
- Mute On/Off: Tap the Mute Button (12).
- Mode Switching: Press the Mode Button (5) to switch between AM/FM, Bluetooth, USB, and AUX modes.

- Connection Steps:
- Press the MODE button to switch to "BT PLAY".
- Ensure Bluetooth is turned on your device.

Once connected for the first time, the unit will automatically reconnect to your device whenever it is within proper range.
Troubleshooting:
- Headunit not receiving power:
- Check all wiring for correctness.
- Check the fuse for a blow.
- Low or no volume:
- Reverse a speaker connection from positive to negative; if volume improves, the speaker was out of phase.
- No radio reception:
- Securely insert the antenna cable into the back of the source unit.
- USB stick not reading:
- Convert music files to MP3 or WMA format.
Maintenance Features (Warranty Information):
NVX offers a limited warranty on this product.
- Mobile Electronics Limited Warranty: When purchased from an Authorized NVX Dealer, the product is warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use for a period of ONE (1) YEAR from the date of original purchase. For "Refurbished" or "B Goods" products, the warranty is limited to NINETY (90) DAYS. The original receipt is required for all warranty claims.
- Service during Warranty Period: NVX will repair or replace (at its discretion) defective merchandise with equivalent merchandise. Warranty replacements may have cosmetic scratches and blemishes. Discontinued products may be replaced with more current equivalent products.
- Validity: This warranty is valid only for the original purchaser. Implied warranties are limited to the duration of the express warranty.
- Warranty Service: Defective merchandise should be returned to the place of purchase. Authorized NVX Dealers are trained to handle warranty claims. Alternatively, contact NVX directly via www.nvx.com/support for a Return Authorization (RMA) number.
- Return Instructions: The RMA number must be clearly marked on the outside of the package. Return only defective components. Include a copy of the original receipt with the purchase date clearly visible, and a "proof-of-purchase" statement listing customer's name, dealer's name, invoice number, and product purchased. Freight must be prepaid; items sent freight collect or COD will be refused. Failure to follow these steps may void the warranty.
- What is NOT Covered:
- Damage due to improper installation or subsequent damage to other components.
- Damage caused by exposure to moisture, excessive heat, chemical cleaners, or UV radiation.
- Damage through negligence, misuse, accident, or abuse.
- Repeated returns for the same damage.
- Cost or expense related to removal or reinstallation.
- Speakers damaged due to amplifier clipping or distortion.
- Items previously repaired or modified by unauthorized repair facilities.
- Return shipping on non-defective items.
- Products with tampered or missing barcode labels.
- Products returned without an RMA number.
- Freight damage.
- Cost of shipping product to NVX.
- Service or installation performed by anyone other than NVX.
- Service Time: NVX aims for a 1-week service for all acoustics (subwoofers, midrange drivers, tweeters, crossovers, etc.). Delays may occur if replacement inventory or parts are unavailable.
- International Warranty: Contact your International NVX dealer or distributor for specific warranty policies in your country.
