If you're experiencing a lack of picture or sound on your Oakcastle DVR, there might be a few reasons. First, ensure the cables connecting your TV and the receiver are properly connected, including the antenna. Also, verify that you've selected the correct video or AV input on your TV. If you're using a Composite or S-Video connection, make sure the video definition is set to 576i by pressing EXIT and then FORMAT on the remote control until the picture appears.
