Two energy save modes:
■ Low power mode
The Océ VarioPrint 2090 enters automatically the low power mode 15
minutes after completion of the last job. The Key operator can adjust the low
power mode default time (1 - 240 minutes). The recovery time before the
next copy/print can be made is 38 seconds.
■ Sleep mode
The Océ VarioPrint 2090 enters automatically the sleep mode 90 minutes
after completion of the last job. The Key operator can adjust the sleep mode
default time (1 - 240 minutes).
If the above mentioned default times for the low power mode (15 minutes)
or sleep mode (90 minutes) cause inconvenience, the key operator can
increase the default times to a maximum of 240 minutes.
It is suggested to determine the appropriate default times for your work
pattern by changing the setting in steps of 30 minutes and testing each
setting for at least a week.
Only if the sleep mode default time limit of 240 minutes still causes sizable
inconvenience, due to your particular work pattern, the Key operator can
disable the sleep mode.
■ Automatic duplex
Using both sides of paper reduces paper costs, national energy consumption
and the amount of paper in the waste disposal process. Therefore, the Océ
VarioPrint 2090 is default set for automatic duplex copying.
■ Recycled paper
The use of recycled paper also benefits the environment. The Océ
VarioPrint 2090 is designed to use recycled paper. Product literature on
recommended types of recycled copy/print paper can be obtained from your
local Océ company or Océ Headquarters (Océ-Technologies B.V.) in Venlo,
the Netherlands.
