If recommended XPS oil is not available, use
a 4-stroke SAE 5W40 engine oil that meets
or exceeds the requirements for API service
classification SM, SL or SJ. Always check
the API service label certification on the oil
container, it must contain at least one of the
above standards.
After filling, check the oil level, refer to
VERIFYING THE ENGINE OIL LEVEL in this
subsection.
Start engine and let it idle for a few minutes.
Ensure oil filter and drain plug areas are not
leaking.
Stop engine.
Wait a while to allow oil to flow down to
crankcase, then check oil level again.
Dispose oil and filter as per your local
environmental regulations.

Remove the engine service cover located
on the rear upper bulkhead.
Removing the Oil Filter Clean oil filter area.
Remove:
1. Oil filter cover screws
2. Oil filter cover
3. O-ring
4. Oil filter.
ENGINE COMPRESSION PRESSURE
The compression pressure reading of a
cylinder is a good indicator of its internal
condition. The decision to overhaul the
cylinder is often based on results of a
compression test.
Before measuring cylinder pressure, ensure
installation and tightening of cylinder cap
bolt with designated torque and reasonable
clearance of valve.
Standard cylinder pressure: 0.9～1.2Mpa
