General RS232 Reader Installation
For all RS232 card readers that transmit at
9600 Baud
8 bits
No Parity
No Handshaking
Can use the General RS232 check box.
Note: The computer must have two working serial ports installed on the computer. One for the meter and one for the reader.
A low cost two serial port card is available from any computer store. However, if a USB port is preferred, an optional USB converter
with USB to Com port driver may be purchased from Static Solutions.
