TAKING
CARE
Unlike
the
other
components
in
your
music
systenr,
your
Ohm
loudspeakers
are
virtually
maintenance-free.
The
hand-rubbed
walnut
finish
on most
Ohm
loud-
speakers
should
be
polished
or
oiled
every
so often,
to
pre-
vent
the finish
from
drying
out.
lf white
streaks
or
opaque
white
spots
appearon
the
finish,
it's
a
sure
sign that
the
finish
is
overly
dry
and
the
speakers
should
be
polished
or
oiled
immediately.
Any
good
furniture
polish
is fine.
Several
coats
of
clear mineral
oil
provides
ex-
cellent
results
as well.
For
optimum
fine
furniture
care,
Ohm offers
a
special Lemon
Grass
Oil,
conveniently
packaged
in
pre-moistened
towelettes.
Ohm
Lemon
Grass
Oil
is
available
from
your
Ohm
dealer,
or
by writing
Ohm
Acoustics.
To
prevent
marring
of the
surface,
never
place
moist
objects
on the
wood
speakers
lf
the
doubleknit grillcovers
become
dusty
or linty,
you
can
vacuum
them
carefully
with
an
ordinary
household
vacuum
cleaner.
This
is
easier
to
do
when
you
first
remove
the
grill-
covers.
To
remove
the
grillcovers,
just
pry
them
off at
one
edge
with
your
fingertips.
lf
this
doesn't
work,
insert
a
putty
knife
and
carefully
pry
the
grill-
covers
oft
(never
use
a
screw-
driver).
