M ANAGEMENT M ETHODS
There are a variety of ways to configure and monitor the
printer server using one or more of the following utilities:
E XTEND V IEW U TILITY
• Used for advanced configuration of the print server,
and allows you to configure for Netware, TCP/IP,
AppleTalk settings.
• Uses a 32-bit graphical user interface.
• Works with Windows PCs running TCP/IP or IPX/SPX
protocols.
• Included on the print server installation CD.
• After installation, this utility can be run from the
START menu.
• Used for Windows configuration.
E XTEND V IEW W EB U TILITY
• Allows you to configure the print server with a
standard web browser like Netscape Navigator or
Microsoft Internet Explorer.
• Requires a Java Virtual Machine in Netscape or
Internet Explorer.
XA DMIN 32 U TILITY
• Used for advanced configuration of the print server,
and allows you to configure for NetWare, TCP/IP,
AppleTalk settings.
• Uses a 32-bit graphical user interface.
• Works with Windows PCs running TCP/IP or IPX/SPX
protocols.
• Included on the print server installation CD.
• After installation, this utility can be run from the
START menu.
• The default password is ACCESS.
• Used for reloading of firmware.
