Why are my Olympus CAMEDIA C-720 Ultra Zoom pictures out of focus?

If your Olympus Digital Camera pictures are out of focus, consider the following: 1. **Camera Movement:** The camera may have moved when the shutter button was pressed. Hold the camera correctly, and press the shutter button. 2. **AF Target Mark:** The AF target mark may not have been on the subject. Position the AF target mark on the subject, or use the focus lock. 3. **Lens Condition:** The lens may be dirty. Clean the lens with a soft dry cloth. 4. **Self-Timer Mode:** If in self-timer mode, ensure you are looking into the viewfinder when pressing the shutter, not standing in front of the camera.
