Tips before you start taking pictures
1 Make sure the camera is turned
off.
• The monitor is off.
• The lens cover is closed.
• The power/card access lamp is off.
2 Open the battery compartment/
card cover.
(Inserting the card
3 Orient the card as shown, and
insert it into the card slot as
shown in the illustration.
• Insert the card straight in.
• Insert the card until it clicks into place.
• Inserting the card in the wrong
direction or at an angle may damage
the contacts and prevent the card from
being removed.
• The card may not record properly if it is
not inserted all the way in.
