INDEX Making an index picture from a movie
This function extracts 9 frames from a movie and saves them as a new picture (INDEX)
containing thumbnails of each frame.
Select a movie with
<J[),
and press
@.
The [BUSY] bar will be temporarily displayed.

This function allows you to save printing data (the number
of
prints and the date and time
information) with the pictures stored on the card.

Protected pictures cannot be erased with [ERASE], [SEL.lMAGE],
or
[ALL ERASE], but they are all erased by formatting.
Select the picture with

and protect it by selecting [ON] with
6'\7.
You can protect several frames
in
succession.

Pictures taken with the camera held vertically are displayed horizontally during playback. This
function lets you rotate such pictures so that they are displayed vertically
on
the monitor, and
the new picture orientations will be saved even after the power is turned off.
