Turning off the monitor (MONITOR OFF)
You can, however, set the monitor so as not to turn on when the lens
barrier is opened.
We recommend that you turn the monitor off when taking pictures at
night to save battery power.
Open the lens barrier and press
the OK button.
The first menu is displayed.
Press to turn off the monitor.
To turn the monitor on again, press the OK button to display the first
menu.
Then press , MONITOR ON is set and the monitor turns on.
The camera factory default setting for the monitor is to turn on automatically
when the lens barrier is opened and the power is turned on.
