Shooting mode settings
Using the self-timer ( )
In the self-timer mode, the picture is taken approximately 12 seconds
after the shutter button is pressed. You are recommended to stabilize
the camera by using a tripod.
Press repeatedly in shooting
mode and select Y.
When the self-timer mode is
selected, Y is displayed on the
monitor.
Take the picture.
The self-timer/remote control lamp
lights for approximately 10 seconds,
then starts blinking. After blinking for
approximately 2 seconds, the picture is
taken.
The self-timer mode is automatically
canceled after one shot.
Do not operate the self-timer while standing directly in front of the camera
lens. The focus and exposure will not be able to lock.
The remote control cannot be used in the self-timer mode.
