• The camera's default settings are [IMAGE
STABILIZER] (still images) to [ON] and [DIS
MOVIE MODE] (movies) to [OFF].
e While [IMAGE STABILIZER] (still images)
is set to [ON], noises may occur from the
inside
of
the camera
if
the shutter button is
pressed.
Images may not be stabilized
if
camera
shake is too severe.
When the shutter speed is extremely slow,
such as when taking still shots or taking
pictures at night, the stabilizer may not be
as effective.
• When shooting while the [DIS MOVIE
MODE] (movies) is set to [ON], the image
will be enlarged somewhat before saving.

This is used for taking pictures

people. (The camera automatically
detects a face and displays a
frame
on
the monitor). Press the
shutter button halfway, when the
camera focuses
on
a face the AF
target mark lights green. When the
AF
target mark lights orange, this
indicates the camera has focused
on
something other than a face.
This enables you to compose the
shot without worrying about the
focusing position. The camera
finds the subject to focus
on
and
automatically adjusts the focus.
The camera focuses
on
the

target mark.
