Why is the GPVL of my OMAC B115 blocking just starting?

  If your OMAC Water Pump's GPVL is blocking just starting, there might be several reasons. Excessive medium viscosity can cause this; decrease the speed of the pump and increase the temperature of the medium. Low media temperature can also be a factor; increase the temperature of the medium and heat the pumping case (within the limits given by the manufacturer). Check for excessive back-pressure by removing possible obstructions in the outlet piping, increasing the piping diameter, and reducing its length and the number of bends. Worn-out or untimed gears can also cause the GPVL to block; replace the gears or time them according to the instructions. If parts are in contact in the pumping case, check that the design pressure coincides with the operating pressure.

  If your OMAC Water Pump is experiencing fast seal wear, it could be due to a few reasons. The presence of suspended particles in the medium can cause this; clean the suction piping and install a filter on it. If the packing gland is too tight, this can also lead to fast seal wear; loosen the packing gland and tighten it correctly, following the instructions. Insufficient flushing seal liquid level can be another cause; check the flushing seal liquid and, if necessary, increase its flow-rate.

  If your OMAC Water Pump's LDPU has a low flow-rate, several factors could be responsible. Insufficient N.P.S.H. could be the cause; increase the head and the piping inlet diameter, reduce the suction piping length and the number of the bends, decrease the speed of the pump and the temperature of the medium, and check that the increase (caused by the decreasing temperature) is suitable to the motor power. If the medium evaporates in the inlet, take the same steps as for insufficient N.P.S.H.
