Why is the GPVL of my OMAC B325 Water Pump blocking just starting?
    • O
      Omar BoydSep 8, 2025
If your OMAC Water Pump's GPVL is blocking just starting, there might be several reasons. Excessive medium viscosity can cause this; decrease the speed of the pump and increase the temperature of the medium. Low media temperature can also be a factor; increase the temperature of the medium and heat the pumping case (within the limits given by the manufacturer). Check for excessive back-pressure by removing possible obstructions in the outlet piping, increasing the piping diameter, and reducing its length and the number of bends. Worn-out or untimed gears can also cause the GPVL to block; replace the gears or time them according to the instructions. If parts are in contact in the pumping case, check that the design pressure coincides with the operating pressure.

What to do if my OMAC Water Pump is still overheating?
    • H
      Haley HodgeSep 10, 2025
If your OMAC Water Pump continues to overheat, even after initial troubleshooting, check if parts are in contact in the pumping case, and ensure that the design pressure coincides with the operating pressure. Also, examine the relief valve for leaks; check its setting, clean sealing parts, and substitute worn parts if necessary.

What causes fast seals wear in my OMAC B325 Water Pump?
    • T
      Travis StewartSep 13, 2025
If your OMAC Water Pump is experiencing fast seal wear, it could be due to a few reasons. The presence of suspended particles in the medium can cause this; clean the suction piping and install a filter on it. If the packing gland is too tight, this can also lead to fast seal wear; loosen the packing gland and tighten it correctly, following the instructions. Insufficient flushing seal liquid level can be another cause; check the flushing seal liquid and, if necessary, increase its flow-rate.

What to do if my OMAC B325 has no flow-rate?
    • J
      John GonzalezNov 16, 2025
If your OMAC Water Pump has no flow rate, first check if the rotation direction is wrong and invert it, if needed. Also, the pump may be unprimed; in this case, fill the pumping case and feeding piping with liquid, expelling air. Insufficient N.P.S.H. could be another cause, so increase the head and the piping inlet diameter, reduce the suction piping length and the number of bends, and decrease the speed of the pump and the temperature of the medium, ensuring the temperature decrease suits the motor power. The presence of air in the suction could also be the reason; increase the medium level and lower the suction opening position. Check for a dirty or blocked valve or suction filter and clean the filters if necessary. Finally, a leaking relief valve can cause this issue; check its setting...

Why is my OMAC B325 overheating?
    • R
      ryan38Nov 18, 2025
If your OMAC Water Pump is overheating, several factors could be responsible. Excessive medium viscosity can cause overheating; decrease the pump speed and increase the medium temperature. High medium temperature is another potential cause; decrease the medium temperature and cool the pumping case. Check for excessive back-pressure by removing obstructions in the outlet piping, increasing the piping diameter, and reducing its length and the number of bends. A too-tight packing gland can also lead to overheating; loosen the packing gland and tighten it correctly, following the instructions. Ensure that the piping is not pressing on the pumping case by checking the piping alignment, fitting flexible expansion joints if necessary, and fixing the piping on the plant structure. Misalignment of ...

Why is my OMAC B325 so noisy and vibrating?
    • A
      Aaron SteeleNov 21, 2025
If your OMAC Water Pump is experiencing noise and LDPU vibration, consider the following potential causes. Insufficient N.P.S.H. (Net Positive Suction Head) can lead to these issues; increase the head and piping inlet diameter, reduce the suction piping length and the number of bends, and decrease the pump speed and medium temperature, ensuring the temperature decrease suits the motor power. Medium evaporation in the inlet or air entering the inlet can also cause noise and vibration; increase the head and piping inlet diameter, reduce the suction piping length and the number of bends, decrease the pump speed and medium temperature, check and tighten suction piping connections, and tighten the packing glands, replacing them if necessary. The presence of air in the suction or not enough liqu...

What causes low flow-rate in my OMAC B325 Water Pump's LDPU?
    • L
      lisagentryNov 24, 2025
If your OMAC Water Pump's LDPU has a low flow-rate, several factors could be responsible. Insufficient N.P.S.H. could be the cause; increase the head and the piping inlet diameter, reduce the suction piping length and the number of the bends, decrease the speed of the pump and the temperature of the medium, and check that the increase (caused by the decreasing temperature) is suitable to the motor power. If the medium evaporates in the inlet, take the same steps as for insufficient N.P.S.H. Air entering in inlet can also cause low flow; check and tighten suction piping connections and tighten the packing glands, replacing them if necessary. If there's air in the suction, fill pumping case and feeding piping with liquid, expelling air. A low liquid level in the tank in the suction requires ...

Why is the motorization of my OMAC B325 Water Pump overheating?
    • L
      Lisa PetersNov 27, 2025
If the motorization of your OMAC Water Pump is overheating, it could be due to several reasons. Low medium temperature might be the cause; increase the temperature of the medium and heat the pumping case, staying within the manufacturer's limits. Excessive medium viscosity can also lead to overheating; decrease the speed of the pump and increase the temperature of the medium. Check for excessive back-pressure by removing obstructions in the outlet piping, increasing the piping diameter, and reducing its length and the number of bends. A too-tight packing gland can also cause this issue; loosen the packing gland and tighten it correctly, following the instructions. Excessive pump speed can contribute to overheating; decrease the speed of the pump. Ensure that the piping is not pressing on t...
