Align the tube carriage slots to the hub ridges with the "UP" marker at the top.
Position the lock ring onto the hub after aligning the carriage.
Turn the lock ring clockwise until it is fully tightened.
Ensure the lock mechanism is fully engaged and secured in the locked position.
Fill the tube with sample (5-10 mL) and insert it into the holder under the spring plunger.
Notes on speed limits, cryo unit incompatibility, and tube geometry.
Use an Allen key to loosen the lock ring or finger plate if they become stuck.
