SERVICE AND MAINTENANCE
PERIODIC MAINTENANCE SCHEDULE
Regularly scheduled maintenance is the key to lower
operating costs and longer service life for the unit.
The schedules can be used as a guide. However,
actual operating conditions should be the deter¬
mining factor in establishing a maintenance
schedule. When operating in very dusty or dirty
conditions, some of the service periods may have to
be reduced.

CRANKCASE OIL
Check oil level daily and change oil every 100 hours of
engine operation. If operating In extremely dusty,
dirty or cold conditions, change oil every 50 hours.
When adding oil between changes, use the same
brand and weight as that In the crankcase.
Information on the correct grade and weight of oil Is
given in the OPERATION section of this manual. Oil
capacity is 4 U.S. quarts (3.8 liters). See Figure 18.

cause personal injury.
