Please note your phone does not contain a camera but if you have
inserted a flash card you can view photos and videos or listen to
audio files that have been saved on it.

5 Sound recorder – you can record voice messages.
6 FM radio – You can scan and save your favourite radio stations. The signal
strength will vary. Autoscan will pick up the strongest signals in your area.
SETTINGS
1 Phone settings
1 Time and date
1 Set home city – scroll through the list of cities to select
your time zone.
2 Set time – using the keypad, type in the time and press
save.
3 Set date – using the keypad, type in the date and press
save.
4 Set time format – choose between 12 and 24 hour clock.
5 Set date format – choose between DD MM YYYY; MM DD
YYYY and YYYY MM DD.
6 Set date separator – choose between: . : / -
7 Update with time zone – choose if you want to update
your phone automatically if you change time zones.
2 Schedule power on/ off - if you want to switch the phone on and
off at a certain time.
1 Schedule power on
1 Status – Enable or disable,
2 Time – Set the time you want the phone to power on.
2 Schedule power off
1 Status – Enable or disable,
2 Time – Set the time you want the phone to power off.
3 Language
This can be set for Automatic or English.
4 Display
1 Wallpaper – to set the image on the home screen;
1 System – choose between image 1 and 2,
2 User defined – you can choose one of your own
images if you have inserted a flash card.
2 Power on display – select the picture you want to
see when the phone is switched on.
3 Power off display – select the picture you want to see
when the phone is switched off.
4 Show date and time – select on or off to show the time
and date on your home screen.
5 Dedicated keys
1 Up – Edit, then select a function you regularly use. This will
then be reached as a short cut by pressing and holding the UP
key e.g. Calculator.
2 Down - Edit, then select a function you regularly use. This
will then be reached as a short cut by pressing and holding
the Down key e.g. Phone lock.
6 Flight mode – Use to switch between Normal and Flight mode. We
recommend that you turn your phone off during a flight.

Misc. settings

LCD back light
1 Brightness – change the brightness by pressing the
up and down keys,
2 Time - change the time it is on for by pressing the up
a
nd down keys.
2 Emergency settings
You have an emergency button on the back of your phone which if
pressed will call 5 people in order and send a text message to 5
selected contacts.
1 Emergency button on – turns the emergency button on and off.
2 Emergency contacts – Select the emergency contacts you want
contacted. You can select somebody from your contact list or
enter a new number.
Options – select Emergency SMS content and type the message you
want to be sent out.
Select Send SMS config to test the message.
3 SOS Volume – to turn the volume of the emergency sound up and
down.
4 User information – you can enter information about yourself.
5 Help – advice on how to use this function.
3 Network settings – this is set to Automatic and will automatically scan
for your network.
4 Security settings
1 SIM security – you will need the passcode from your Network
Supplier,
1 PIN lock – locks your SIM card so if you lose your phone
the SIM card cannot be used by anyone without the PIN.
2 Change PIN – change the default code to your own.
3 Change PIN2 – change the PIN for access to calling
features.
2 Phone security – This is to protect your phone so it cannot be
used by anyone that does not use your passcode. If you use
this lock, the passcode must be entered every
time you use the phone.
1 Phone lock – switch on or off,
2 Change password – the default passcode is 1122.
3 Auto keypad lock – This will lock the keyboard to prevent buttons
being accidentally pressed when the phone is being carried around.
You can choose between: Off, 5 secs, 30 secs, 1 min, 5 mins,
To unlock the keyboard, press the Unlock key and then #
5 Restore settings – This is to restore the phone to factory defaults and you
will lose any information that you have stored on the phone. Default
passcode 1122. Select Yes or No.
