  If your One Hour Thermostat is not producing heat, take these steps: 1. Ensure the system is set to 'Heat'. 2. Check that all thermostat and system wires are securely attached. 3. To diagnose, set the system to 'Heat' and raise the setpoint above room temperature. Within five minutes, the thermostat should make a soft click and “Heat On” should appear on the display. If the thermostat clicks, contact the furnace manufacturer or a service person to verify the heating system is operating correctly. If it doesn't click, try resetting it. If it still doesn't click after resetting, contact your heating and cooling service person or place of purchase for a replacement.

  If your One Hour Thermostat isn't cooling, follow these steps: 1. Make sure the system is set to 'Cool'. 2. Verify all thermostat and system wires are securely attached. 3. For diagnostics, set the system to 'Cool' and lower the setpoint below room temperature. The same procedures as diagnostic for “No Heat” condition except set the thermostat to Cool and lower the setpoint below the room temperature. Note that there may be up to a five-minute delay before the thermostat clicks in Cooling if the compressor lock-out option is selected in the installer menu.
