Problem Potential cause Remedy
The can opener is
jammed despite having
depressed the reverse
button (6).
Use a cross-slotted
screwdriver in order to
turn the manual drive (8)
counterclockwise until it
has been separated from
the can.
The can opener cannot
be properly positioned
on the can.
Press the start button (1)
with the can recognition
(2) at the same time. In
the process press down
until the cutting blade (3)
is retracted back inside the
device.
Attention: Please do
not come into contact
with the cutting blade
as it is very sharp!
