  If your Onga Swimming Pool Pump does not run, first, check the power outlet using another electrical appliance that is known to work. Then, check the fuse and replace it if necessary. If those aren't the issue, the automatic thermal overload may have tripped to protect the motor. In that case, switch the power off and allow the motor to cool before switching it back on. Ensure adequate ventilation around the pump and motor. Also, make sure the pump isn't jammed with debris and that the motor shaft spins freely. Finally, the motor may be burnt out due to a voltage spike or flooded by water, in which case it may need replacing.

  If your Onga Swimming Pool Pump operates with reduced or no flow, first, check the plumbing to ensure the valves are in the correct position for filtering, including any valves on the suction or discharge of the pump. Also, the filter may be dirty, so clean it. Finally, check for air ingress to the system by re-priming the pump and ensuring that there are no air leaks in the suction piping or fittings. Make sure the hair & lint pot lid is closed and airtight and check for leaks beneath the pump and casing.
