Electrical safety and cord handling
• Before plugging the heater into a suitable power point, make sure that your outlet
voltage and circuit frequency correspond to the voltage stated on the appliance
rating label.
• Always plug this heater into a separate power point. Do not use it with an
extension cord as this may overheat and cause a re risk.
• To ensure you do not overload the electrical circuit, make sure that no other
appliance is in use on the same electrical circuit as the heater.
• WARNING: To reduce the risk of re, electric shock or injury:
• Never touch the heater, plug or cord, or adjust any switches, with wet or damp
hands or feet.
• Do not immerse the heater in water or let water drip or spill into the heater.
• Never expose the heater to an atmospheric condition (rain, sun, etc.).
• Always place the heater on a at, stable surface.
• Do not operate the heater with a damaged cord or plug, or after the heater
malfunctions, has been dropped or damaged in any manner. In such a case,

• Protect the power cord:
• Do not put the cord on top of or wrap it around the heater.
• Do not twist or kink the cord or let it touch heated surfaces during operation.
• Do not put any stress on the cord where it connects to the product.
• Do not pull the cord when unplugging the heater, grip the plug.
• Arrange the cord away from any trafc area so no one will trip over it.
• Do not run the cord under carpeting, throw rugs or runners etc.
• Only operate the heater with the power cord fully unwound. Using it with the
cord coiled up could cause overheating and present a re hazard.
• Do not leave the appliance unattended when connected to the mains power supply.
• To avoid the risk of electric shock, do not disassemble or attempt to repair the unit.
