iPod / iPhone Playback
Before using your iPod/iPhone with the CD player, be sure to update your iPod/iPhone with the latest software, available
from the Apple website.
If you leave your iPod/iPhone paused when using it on its own, eventually it will go into hibernation. If you connect it
to the USB port in this state, you’ll need to wait a few moments before your iPod/iPhone is ready for use.
Always remove your iPod/iPhone before moving the CD player.
Depending on your iPod/iPhone, or the type of content being played, some functions may not work as expected.
1
Connect your iPod/iPhone to the USB con-
nector on the front panel of the CD player
using the USB cable.
Note:
Once you have connected the iPod /iPhone to the
CD player, no sound will be heard through head-
phones connected to the [PHONES] jack on the
CD player. Connect the headphones directly to
the iPod/iPhone.
2
Select “USB” using the [DISC/USB] button
on the CD player.
When no iPod/iPhone is connected, “No USB” will
be displayed.
3

Playback will start with the top file in the folder
structure.

To pause playback:

[] button again.
Notes:

mode, the iPod/iPhone playback might stop.

ation), “ONKYO” is displayed on the iPod display and
the click wheel will be disabled.
When the playback stops, the “ONKYO” disappears
and the click wheel will be enabled.
