Output level setting
5 While the speaker indicator is blinking, press PARAMETER
CONTROLLER to set the output level of the channel.
Setting range
L/C/R/RS/LS: –12 dB to +12 dB
SW: –12 dB to +20 dB
The output of the test signal to each channel continues during
adjustment for that channel. The signal output will automatically
switch to the next channel when three seconds have elapsed after
setting for the current channel is done.
When you finish adjusting for the current channel, press LEVEL
(the speaker indicator(s) for the next speaker type will blink).
6 Press TEST TONE to finish output level setting.
The output of the test signal stops.

Adjusting the output level for the input source
The output level you set using the test tone may be adjusted in the
range of ±3 dB according to your taste.
1 Press POWER.
2 Press INPUT-1 or INPUT-2.
Skip this step if the desired input mode is already selected.
Do not press MULTI-CH INPUT or you will be unable to go on to
the next and later steps.
3 Press LEVEL repeatedly until the indicator for the channel for
which you wish to adjust the output level is displayed.
Each time you press this button, the blinking speaker indicator
changes in sequence as follows.
L (Left) → C (Center) → R (Right) → RS (Right Surround) →
LS (Left Surround) → SW (Subwoofer) → COMPLETE
(The channels whose speaker setting is "NONE" or "NO" will be
skipped.)
4 While the speaker indicator is blinking, press PARAMETER
CONTROLLER to adjust the output level of the channel.
The adjusting range is ±3 dB of the level you adjust using the test tone.
When you finish adjusting for the current channel, press LEVEL
(the speaker indicator(s) for the next speaker type will blink).
Note:
The output level set using the LEVEL button will default as soon as the
ED-301's power is turned off.
