ADJUSTMENT PROCEDURES
PRECAUTIONS Oscilloscope
1. Before adjustment, clean the following parts with an Attenuator
alchol moinstend swab. AC voltmeter
* record/playback head * erase head Non-magnetic screw. driver
* pinch roller * capstan Blank tapes (completely erased)

2. Do not use magnetized screwdriver for adjustments. HIGH ................00.. NEW XL-1190
METAL ............20000% NEW MX60
3. Demagnetize record/playback head with a head de- Test tapes
magnetizer. VTT-658 : 10KHz,—15dB
MTT-111 : 3kHz,—10dB
TEST EQUIPMENT/TOOLS REQUIRED: MTT-150 : Dolby level calibration
Audio oscillator 400Hz, tone 200nWb/m
Digital frequency counter TW-2111 : Torque meter
