Laser Driver Board
The laser board in Figure 3 consists of four sets of Triton
Illuminator VCSELS of 940 nm with their respective drivers
from PhotonIC. The sensor modulates the lasers over LVDS
protocol. However, the drivers are currently still configured
by the demo3 FPGA. At a later stage, the Three−Wire Serial
interface from the sensor will enable the configuration of 2
different laser drivers (SEN1, SEN2 sensor pins). See
related Errata document Issue D.
