The OontZ Clip is a portable Bluetooth speaker designed and engineered by Cambridge SoundWorks. It is an OontZ Dual Speaker Model, meaning two OontZ Clip speakers can be connected wirelessly for a stereo sound experience.
Function Description:
The OontZ Clip serves as a portable Bluetooth speaker for playing audio wirelessly from various devices such as iPhones, iPads, iPods, smartphones, tablets, Apple Macs, Windows laptops/computers, and Amazon Echo devices. It also features a built-in microphone for hands-free personal speakerphone functionality with smartphones and iPhones. The speaker can be played horizontally or vertically, with controls accessible on the side or top, respectively.

Usage Features:
- Buttons:
- Power Button: Press and hold for 1 second to turn ON, press and hold for 3 seconds to turn OFF.
- Bluetooth/Play/Pause/Speakerphone/Dual Speaker Button (Multi-function): Press and release to pause/play. Press and release to answer/end an incoming call. Press and hold for 3 seconds to disconnect the current Bluetooth device and enter pairing mode. Press and hold for 3 seconds on the Play Control Speaker to initiate "Dual Pairing" mode.
- Volume Down (-) Button (Dual Function): Press and release to decrease volume one level. Holding down the button will result in track back.
- Volume Up (+) Button (Dual Function): Press and release to increase volume one level. Holding down the button will result in track forward.
- Lights:
- Lit Blue (Speaker On):
- Flashing Blue: Speaker is in pairing mode.
- Solid Blue: Speaker is connected.
- Lit White/Blue (Dual Speaker Mode): The second speaker connected in OontZ Dual Speaker mode will show this light.
- Lit Red (Charging):
- Slowly flashing Red: Battery is charging.
- Solid Red: Battery is fully charged.
- Rapidly flashing Red: Battery charge is less than 15% remaining.
- Pairing & Connecting:
- Single Speaker: Turn on the OontZ Clip, and the Blue Light will flash. Select "OontZ Clip xxx" from your device's Bluetooth settings. The Blue Light will turn solid blue when connected.
- Dual Speaker Mode:
- Turn on both OontZ Clip speakers.
- Pair and connect one speaker (the "Play Control Speaker") to your device. Its Blue Light will be solid blue.
- Ensure the second speaker's Blue Light is flashing (not connected to any device). If it's solid blue, press and hold the Bluetooth button for 3 seconds to disconnect it.
- On the Play Control Speaker, press and hold the Dual Speaker Button for 3 seconds until it says "Dual Pairing."
- After a few seconds, the Play Control Speaker will say "Left Channel," and the second speaker will say "Right Channel." The Play Control Speaker's light will remain solid Blue, and the second speaker's light will be solid White.
- Amazon Echo Devices: Use the Alexa app to pair initially. For subsequent connections, turn on the OontZ Clip and say "Alexa, connect my speaker" or "Alexa, pair."
- Speakerphone:
- Answer/End Call: Press and release the Bluetooth button.
- Reject Call: Press and hold down the Bluetooth button for 2 seconds.
- Keep the speaker close for clear audio.
- Switch between speakerphone and phone on your smartphone/iPhone.
- Power Saving Feature: When running on battery, the OontZ Clip will turn off after 15 minutes of no audio playback. When plugged into a charging source, it remains on until manually turned off.
Maintenance Features:
- Charging: Insert the small end of the USB Type C Charging Cable into the speaker's charging connector and the larger end into a USB wall charger or computer USB port.
- Water Detection during Charging: If an alarm sound "dododo" occurs while charging with Type C, it indicates water in the Type-C socket. Remove the water with tissue before re-charging.
- Resetting: To reset the OontZ Clip, remove the USB Type C Charging Cable (if connected), then press and hold down the Power button and the "-" button together for 1 second. Release, and the speaker is reset.
- Safety and Precautions:
- Do not use the speaker in the shower, bath, or near water when plugged into a charging source to prevent electric shock.
- Protect the USB Type C Charging Cable from being pinched.
- Unplug the charging cable during lightning storms or when unused for long periods.
- Do not place the speaker near heat sources or naked flames.
- Do not alter the speaker.
- The battery is not replaceable.
- Use only agency-approved power supplies.
- Avoid exposing the speaker to excessive heat.
- If the battery leaks, avoid contact with skin or eyes and seek medical advice.
