Hint: Test if everything is set-up correctly by sending a text message to your Opis desk-
top mobile now.
Hint: To disable all text message forwarding simply use this funcon without a desna-
on number, i.e. *002#*.
Conguring for a cell phone service provider
IMPORTANT: Only use this funcon if there are issues operang your Opis desktop
mobile.
The number needed to idenfy your cell phone service provider (<nnn> from 001 to
999) can be found on the Opis Technology website at hps://opis-tech.com/go/4geng
Pick-up the receiver and dial:
Format: *003#<nnn>* (nnn is 001 to 999 - see descripon above)
Example: to set-up for AT&T USA: *003#005*
⇒ if the conguraon was successful, the telephone rings once
Reset to factory defaults
To reset all conguraons of your Opis Desktop Mobile to the inial sengs, pick up
the receiver and dial:
Format: *08*
Example: to restore factory defaults: *08*
⇒ if the original sengs were restored the phone rings once.
Special operang modes
Opis 4G desktop mobiles support three special operang modes, which, for example,
enable demonstraon use (at trade fairs, adversing stands, etc.) and can also help
persons with memory loss.
The operang modes are each protected with a PIN number (not to be confused with
the SIM-card PIN). Only with this PIN number can a desktop mobile be reset from the
special operang mode to normal mode. Other sengs cannot be changed while a
special operang mode is acve and reseng the phone is not allowed.
⓳① Only quick dials and emergency calls
This mode only allows the use of quick dials as dened in ❾ as well as the emergency
numbers 112, 110 and 911. All other numbers result in the line busy tone. To enable
this mode, pick up the receiver and dial:
Format: *00#1#<PIN>*
Example: to enable mode 1 and set the 4-digit PIN to 1234: *00#1#1234*
