17. Labeling
The appliance must be marked if the refrigerant has been emptied. The
label must be dated and signed. In the case of appliances containing
flammable refrigerants, make sure that there are markings on the device
indicating that the device contains flammable refrigerant.
18. Maintenance
When removing coolant from the system, whether for maintenance
or decommissioning, we recommend that you follow best practices to
ensure that all coolants are safely removed. When moving refrigerant to
the cylinders, make sure that only suitable refrigerant cylinders are used.
Make sure that the correct number of collecting bottles is available to keep
the total gas from the system. All cylinders to be used are intended for
reclaimed refrigerant and labeled for this refrigerant (special refrigerant
recovery rollers). The cylinders must be equipped with a pressure valve and
appropriate shut-off valves in good operating condition. The emptied empty
cylinders are evacuated and, if possible, cooled before recovery.
The recovery facilities must be in good working order with a set of
equipment related instructions available and suitable for the recovery of
all suitable refrigerants, including any flammable refrigerants. The hoses
must be fitted with couplings for disconnection without leakage and in
good condition. Before using the collection equipment, make sure that the
equipment is in satisfactory operation, that it is properly maintained and
whether it is in good working order all relevant electrical components are
sealed to prevent ignition when refrigerant is released. If in doubt, contact
the manufacturer.
The recovered refrigerant must be returned to the refrigerant supplier in
the correct recovery bin and the appropriate shipping note must be placed.
Do not mix refrigerants in recovery units and not in bottles. If compressors
or compressor oils are to be removed, ensure that they are drained to an
acceptable level to ensure that the flammable refrigerant does not remain in
the system.
Power Supplies/Batteries
Safety instructions for replacing and loading with the remote control power
supply (RC) - for batteries.
Warning!
The device is equipped with a power source that can be exchanged by the
user - batteries for powering the remote.
In case of incorrect replacement and non-observance of the safety
instructions there is a danger of accumulators - electric short circuit,
explosion, leakage of electrolyte, corrosion.
Replace replacement batteries exclusively with the same or equivalent type
specified by the manufacturer and always the recommended way.
Dispose of batteries in accordance with applicable regulations and
provisions for disposal of electronic devices.
