Precautions and safety instructions
Only a professional installer should install, connect, commission
and service
the
appliance
unless otherwise specified in this document;
The installation of the appliance must be carried out in accordance with the
general and
locally applicable building, safety and installation regulations of the
municipality and
electricity company;
While carrying out work on the device, ensure that the
voltage has been removed and cannot be switched on accidentally. Keep in mind that
after switching off, the motor continues to run for about 20 seconds;
The appliance should be connected to an earthed and fused wall
socket;
Modification of the device other than as described in this documentation is not
permitted;
Touching the fans by hand should not be possible, therefore duct
work of at least
900 mm length
must
be connected;
The device is not suitable for use in an environment where the following
are
present or may occur:
Corrosive or flammable gases, liquids or vapours.
Overly greasy atmosphere.
Room air temperature above 40°C or below 5°C.
Relative humidity higher than 90%.
The appliance is not suitable for connection to a range hood or
tumble dryer.
The device is suitable for indoor use only.
The appliance is not suitable for industrial use, such as swimming pools,
saunas
or workshops.
Check that the device is complete and undamaged when the device
is removed
from its
packaging
.
