Problem Check Solution
Cleaner will
not run
• Not plugged in
properly.
• Wall outlet is
faulty.
• The power cable
is damaged.
• Be sure vacuum is
rmly plugged into
wall outlet.
• Check electrical
source – fuse or
circuit breaker.
• If power cable is
damaged, contact
Oreck for service.
Steam is not
emitted when
the steam
cleaner is ON.
• Water tank is
empty.
• Hard water lter
is clogged.
• The steam switch
is not activated
properly.
• Fill water tank.
• Change water lter.
• Pull the trigger on
the handle to release
steam.
Unit still does
not operate
properly.
Check all the above
points.
