Why is my Oreck XL PLATINUM 79011-01REVB not picking up?

If your Oreck Vacuum Cleaner isn't picking up dirt effectively, several factors could be the cause: * The filter bag might be full, in which case you should replace it. * There could be a clog in the nozzle or intake pivot; clear any obstructions. * The belt might be broken or stretched, requiring a replacement. * The bag tube may be clogged; clear any obstruction. * The bag pores may be clogged with fine dust; change the bag. * The revolving brush may not be even at both ends. Check the bearing seal and make sure the words 'Special' or 'Normal' are at each end.
