Why is my Oreck Vacuum Cleaner not picking up?

If your Oreck Vacuum Cleaner isn't picking up dirt, it could be due to several reasons: * The filter bag might be full – replace it. * The nozzle or intake pivot could be clogged – clear any obstructions. * The belt might be broken or stretched – replace the belt. * The brush could be worn – replace the brush. * The bag tube could be clogged – clear the obstruction. * The bag pores could be clogged with fine dust – change the bag. * The impeller fan might be broken – return to a service center for repair. * The revolving brush might not be even at both ends – check the brush roll end cards to ensure the words “OLD” or “NEW” match at each end.
