If your Oreck Vacuum Cleaner won't pick up dirt effectively, several factors could be responsible: * The filter bag may be full, in which case you should replace it. * There might be a clog in the nozzle, intake pivot, or bag tube; clear any obstructions. * The belt could be broken or stretched, requiring replacement. * The brush may be worn, consider adjusting or replacing the brushroll. * The bag pores might be clogged with fine dust, so try changing the bag. * The impeller fan could be broken, which requires a visit to the Service Center for repair. * The revolving brush might not be even at both ends; check the bearing seal and make sure the words 'OLD' or 'NEW' are at each end.
