cgm.3 cubicles are dened as a sealed, pressurized system
which contains sulfur hexauoride (SF

).

is included in the Kyoto Protocol list of greenhouse gases.

has a GWP (Global Warming Potential) of 22 200 units.

At the end of the product’s life, the SF

contained in it
must be recovered for processing and recycling, to prevent
it being released into the atmosphere. Extracting and
handling of SF
6
must be carried out by qualied personnel,
using a sealed piercing system.
For the usage and handling of the SF
6
, the indications listed
in IEC 62271-303 must be followed.
The management and treatment of the rest of materials
must be carried out in accordance with the country’s
current legislation.
