• Donotusewithanextensioncord.
• Closesupervisionisnecessarywhenimmersionblenderisusedbyornear
children,orincapacitatedpersons.Donotallowchildrentouseitasatoy.
• Donotoperateimmersionblenderwithadamagedcordorplug,afterthe
appliancemalfunctionsorifitisdroppedordamagedinanymanner.Return
appliancetothenearestAuthorizedServiceCenterforexamination,repair
orelectricalormechanicaladjustment.
• Donottwist,kinkorwrapthepowercordaroundtheapplianceasthismay
causetheinsulationtoweakenandsplitparticularlywhereitenterstheunit.
• Toprotectagainstriskofelectricalshock,donotputimmersionblender
motorinwaterorotherliquid.Thismayalsocausepersonalinjuryand/or

• Aftereachoperation,allowtheimmersionblendertocoolfor3minutes
before using it again.
• Donotprocessfoodcontaininghardobjectsthatcannotbesafelybrokenup
by the blade.
• Toprotectagainstre,donotoperatetheunitinthepresenceofexplosive
and/orammablefumes.
• Thisimmersionblendershouldnotbeusedintheimmediatevicinity
ofwater,suchasbathtub,washbowls,swimmingpool,etc.,wherethe
likelihoodofimmersionorsplashingcouldoccur.
• Switchoandunplugfromoutletwhilenotinuse,beforeputtingonor
takingopartsandbeforecleaning.Removebygraspingtheplug;donot
pull on the cord.
• Avoidcontactwithmovingparts.Keephands,hair,clothing,aswellasspatulas
andotherutensilsawayfrombladeduringoperationtoreducetheriskof
injurytopersonsand/ordamagetotheimmersionblender.Aspatulaor
scrapermaybeusedwhentheapplianceisnotinoperation.
• Whenmixingliquids,especiallyhotliquids,useatallcontainerormakesmall
quantitiesatatimetoreducespillage.
• Donotplaceimmersionblenderonornearahotburnerorinaheatedoven.
• Donotuseoverastoveorotherheatsource.Whenmixingsoupsorotherhot
foodsorliquids,removethesaucepanfromtheheatsourcebeforeusingthe
immersionblender.

aftermixing.
