Do you have a question about the OTT Pluvio and is the answer not in the manual?
Measurement Principle | Weighing principle |
---|---|
Catchment Area | 200 cm² |
Operating Temperature | -40°C to +70°C |
Data Interface | RS-485, SDI-12 |
Precipitation Type | Rain, snow, hail |
The pulse output version is cost-effective for external data acquisition systems, outputting precipitation increases as pulses.
Uses the same weighing mechanism and housing as other versions, but with a pulse-output board instead of OTT-LOG.
Internal timer sets a one-minute interval. Measurement and evaluation systems activate each minute.
Precipitation increases are output as pulses immediately after measurement. Two resolution levels and output wirings are available.
Timing unit and RAM are buffered for ~2 days. Measurement resumes on voltage recovery; data may be lost if recovery is delayed.
Model: PLUVIO pulse output. Board: 70.010.101.3.8. Firmware: PLU_IMP.HEX.
Power: 8-16V DC, <25mA (active). Temp: -30 to +70°C. Output: 8-24V, 60VA, 110V, 1A.
Interval: 1 min. Range: 0-15 mm/min. Resolution: 0.1mm and 0.01mm per pulse.
160 x 100 x 32 mm.
Status signal comprises 1-5 symmetric pulses per minute, each 50 ms. Indicates proper function, vessel content, or housing status.
