2. Set the engine switch to
ON.
1. Setthefueltaptothe“ON”
position as shown.
3. Adjust the choke to suit the current
conditions.
COLD START: Iftheweatheriscold,
pushthechokeallthewaytotheleft
intothe“ON”position.
WARM START: Iftheweatheriswarm
or the generator has recently been
used,pushthechokeallthewayto
therightintothe“OFF”position.
1. Switchoengineby
moving the engine switch
to the OFF position.
2. Removethefuelcapby
rotating in a anti-clockwise
direction.
3. Addfueltothetank(91RON
Unleaded Petrol). Do not
overllthefueltank,check
thefuelgaugeonthefuel
tank. Do not use ethanol
blendedfuels.Fueltank
capacity is 5L.
4. Afterrefuelling,makesurethefuelcapisclosedproperlyand
securely.
WARNING! BE CAREFUL NOT TO SPILL FUEL WHEN
REFUELLING. SPILLED FUEL OR FUEL VAPOUR MAY
IGNITE. IF ANY FUEL IS SPILLED, MAKE SURE THE AREA
IS DRY BEFORE STARTING THE ENGINE.
WARNING! KEEP AWAY FROM CIGARETTES, SMOKE AND
SPARKS WHEN REFUELLING THE GENERATOR. ALWAYS
REFUEL IN A WELL-VENTILATED LOCATION.

Starting the Engine

1. Follow steps 1 to 3 in the “Preparing to Start” section above.
2. Hold the generator steady
with one hand. With the
otherhand,pullslightlyon
the recoil starter until you
feelresistanceandthen
pullhardandswiftly.Do
not let the recoil starter
retractbyitself,guideit
back by hand.
3. Oncestartedpushthechokeallthewaytotherightintothe“OFF”
position.
Note:Youmayneedtopullontherecoilstarterafewtimesuntilthe
generator starts.
WARNING! PETROL IS VERY FLAMMABLE. DO NOT
SMOKE OR CAUSE ANY SPARKS OR FLAMES NEAR
FUEL. MAKE SURE THAT YOU STOP THE ENGINE
AND ALLOW IT TO COOL BEFORE REFUELLING THE
GENERATOR. SELECT AN OPEN OUTDOOR AREA FOR
FUELLING AND MOVE AT LEAST 3M AWAY FROM THE
FUELLING POINT BEFORE STARTING THE ENGINE.
