TRANSPORTING & STORAGE
When Transporting Generator
• Whentransportingashortdistance,
it is advised that you use the
handles.
• Donotoverllthefueltank.
• Avoid a place exposed to direct
sunlight when putting the generator
onavehicle.Ifthegeneratorisleft
inanenclosedvehicleformany
hours,hightemperaturesinsidethe
vehiclecouldcausefueltovaporize,
resulting in a possible explosion.
• Do not operate the generator while it is on a vehicle. Take the
generatorothevehicleanduseitinawellventilatedplace.
• Donotdriveonaroughroadforanextendedperiodwiththegenerator
onboard.Ifyoumusttransportthegeneratoronaroughroad,drain
thefuelfromthegeneratorbeforehand.
Storing the Generator for an Extended Period
1. Besurethestorageareaisfreeofexcessivehumidityanddust.
2. Completelydrainthefuelfromthetank.Openthefuelvalve,start
theengineandoperateitintheidlepositionuntilallremainingfuel
is gone and the engine stops automatically.
3. Discharge oil as described in (“Oil Change”) section.
4. Checkthefueltapisturnedo.
