Tighten all bolts that clamp the shifters, brake levers and bar ends to
the handlebar using a 5mm Allen key or Phillips head screwdriver.
(Figure 1) Handlebar with Grip Shifter.
(Figure 2) Top mounted thumb shifter.
Failure to properly tighten clamping bolts may
cause sudden movement of the component
resulting in loss of steering control.
