Notes
Notes are a great way to capture thoughts,
questions, and meeting notes on your
smartphone. You can also create a voice
note or add a recording to an existing note.
BEFORE YOU BEGIN On a Windows XP
computer, to take advantage of all the sync
features available in the Notes application,
install ActiveSync desktop software from
your smartphone (see Installing Desktop
Sync Software: Windows XP and Windows
Vista).
Creating a note
1 Press Start and select Programs.
2 Select Notes .
3 Press New (left softkey).
4 Do one of the following:
• Type the text by using the keyboard.
• If you turned on writing mode (see
Customizing Notes
), write the text
with the stylus.
• Press Menu (right softkey), select
Draw, and draw a sketch with the
stylus, crossing at least three ruled
lines.
5 Press OK .
Creating a voice note
1 Press Start and select Programs.
2 Select Notes .
