Infinity
lock
mode
When
you
wish
to
take
a
picture
of
a
distant
view
or
through
a
glass
window,
select
the
infinity
symbol
on
the
LCD
panet
by
pressing
the
Flash
mode
/
SELECT
button
before
pressing
the
shutter
release
button.
The
flash
will
not
operate
in
this
mode
to
avoid
reflection
in
windows
and
because
it's
unnecessary
for
distant
subjects.
*
If
the
green
LED
blinks
slowty
when
the
shutter
release
button
is
pressed
halfway,
it
means
that
there
is
a
risk
of
camera
shake.
If
so,
use
a
tripod
or
brace
yourself
against
a
wall,
*
If
the
"B"
mark
appears
on
the
LCD,
it
means
that
the
shutter
is
set
to
"Bulb"
(see
the
section
"Slow
shutter
speed
to
Bulb”.)
Stow
shutter
speed
to
bulb
In
the
three
modes
shown
above,
the
shutter
speed
is
adjusted
automatically
from slow
to
“Bulb”
depending
on
the
light
level.
For
example,
when
you
take
a
picture
in
the
dark
such
as
a
night
view,
the
camera
shutter
changes
to
“Bulb”
automatically.
In
this
case,
"B`
appears
on
the
LCD
panel
when
pressing
the
shutter
release
button
halfway.
This
means
that
the
shutter
will
be
open
as
long
as
pressure
is
maintained
on
the
shutter
release
button
(max:
99
seconds)
.
There
will
be
a
risk
of
camera
shake
so
it
is
best
to
use
a
tripod
(not
included).
