Why can't I play a disc or read data from my Panasonic DVD Drive?

If you cannot play a disc or read data from it using your Panasonic DVD Drive, it might be because the disc is bent, scratched, or dirty. Also, an error may occur if, after the tray has been closed or operation has been resumed from the sleep (Windows Vista), standby (Windows XP)/hibernate modes, the drive is accessed before the Multimedia Pocket device status indicator goes out. Another reason might be that the drive is accessed by the application software automatically. If this happens, remove the disc, re-insert it, and try again.
