NOTE
z After clicking [start] - [All programs], if [DVD-RAM] is not displayed, install the DVD-
RAM driver according to the following procedure.
A Log-on to Windows with the administrator authority.
B Set the Product Recovery DVD-ROM in the DVD MULTI drive.
C Click [start] - [Run] and input [d:\ramdrvr\setup.exe]

, then click [OK].
Follow the onscreen instructions.

“d:” is the drive letter of the DVD MULTI drive. Change this to match the drive letter on your own
computer.
Writing or Rewriting to Disks
z Read the description on the disk package.
z With DVD-RAM, you can write or rewrite as with the hard disk using Explorer, without
using the writing software. (DVD-RAM driver is required. This driver has been installed in
this computer.)
z Writing software is required to write data to a disk other than DVD-RAM.
At the time of purchase, the following software has been installed.
• B's Recorder: Î page 92
• B's CLiP: Î page 93
z Be sure to use disks conforming to the proper writing speeds.
(Some disks cannot be written at the specified speeds.)
