12.1.4 IPM (Power transistor) Prevention Control
1. DC Peak Current Control
● When electric current to IPM exceeds set value of 8.11A(for RE9PKE-3),17.4A(for RE12PKE-3), or
19.22A(for RE15PKE-3) the compressor will stop. It will restart after three minutes.
● If the set value is exceeded again within 30 seconds, the operation will restart after one minute.
● If this condition repeats continuously for seven times, all indoor and outdoor relays will be cut off.
● Error code [F99] will be displayed.
12.1.5 Compressor Overheating Prevention Control
Instructed frequency for compressor operation will be regulated by compressor discharge temperature. The change
of frequency is as below.
12.1.6 Compressor Self Pre-heating Control
This control keeps the compressor oil warm during low outdoor ambient temperature.
● This control starts if all following conditions are achieved:
- Outdoor unit stops or operates in fan mode.
- Outdoor unit has stopped or in fan mode for 120 minutes or more.
- Outdoor unit does not have abnormality.
- Compressor tank temperature is 0°C or lower.
● This control stops if any of the following conditions is satisfied:
- When compressor tank temperature is higher than 62°C.
- When 30 minutes after this control, compressor tank temperature increase is lower than 5°C.
- Compressor self pre-heat longest cycle time is 60 minutes.
● Control content:
- Compressor motor is energized without rotating to generate heat.
12.1.7 Low Operation Frequency Protection Control

When the compressor operation frequency is lower than 24Hz and continuing for 240 minutes, the operation
frequency will be changed to 23Hz for 2 minutes. This is to prevent the compressor in too low frequency for long time.
●
If all following conditions fulfilled, the compressor will run in the frequency of 30 Hz.
