Recording and copying programmes
This unit will record the high definition quality programmes of the digital broadcast onto the HDD with high quality
image and audio as they were broadcasted. Perform the copy using an appropriate disc and mode for your purpose.
When copying titles to disc
Copy in standard definition
Quality and speed of copying depends on the disc to copy.
Copy in High Speed mode
(the same quality of the broadcast)
Copy as high definition (HD) quality
All subtitles and multiple audio are
recorded.
Subtitles cannot be recorded. Only one
audio can be copied.
Copy as standard definition (SD) quality
Copy in Normal Speed mode when
copying the title recorded in DR mode
on HDD

Data size of the copied title may be larger than the original title, depending on the transfer rate.
It is recommended to use HE or HL mode when you record high definition and long programmes.
